1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit.
They are commonly used to make websites work, remember preferences, improve performance, measure activity, and provide information to website owners.
Some cookies are temporary and are deleted when you close your browser. These are called session cookies.
Other cookies stay on your device for a set period of time or until you delete them. These are called persistent cookies.
2. Similar technologies
This policy also covers similar technologies, including:

3. What cookies we use
At the time of this policy, our audit found no analytics pixels, no marketing scripts, no tracking tools, no document.cookie use, no localStorage use, and no sessionStorage use in the getginkgo.uk website code.
The waitlist form uses Netlify Forms markup and honeypot handling. This is form handling and spam protection, not marketing or advertising tracking.
We do not currently use optional analytics cookies, advertising cookies, tracking pixels, remarketing tags, or behavioural advertising tools on getginkgo.uk.
If we add analytics, advertising, embedded media, or other optional cookies in the future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required before those cookies or similar technologies are used.

These may include cookies or local storage used for:
- Website security.

- Keeping forms or pages working correctly.
- Protecting the website from misuse.

These cookies do not require consent because they are needed to provide the website or a service you have requested.
You can block these cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the website may not work correctly.
