Ginkgo is a home inventory app that remembers where your things live. Instead of keeping the location of everything in your head - or asking around - you log it once and look it up when you need it.
What Ginkgo does
- Stores item locations - Tell Ginkgo where something lives and retrieve that information any time.
- Searches your saved details - Look up items by name, description, tag, or location.
- Built for real home memory - Keep a clear record of where important things live, without relying on memory alone.
- Adds items from photos - Take a photo and Ginkgo’s AI suggests what the item is, saving you time.
What Ginkgo isn’t
Ginkgo isn’t a general to-do app, a shopping list, or an expense tracker. It’s specifically designed to answer one question: where is this thing?
Getting started in five minutes
- Create your account and set a household name
- Add your first location (usually a room or area of your home)
- Add a few items to that location
- Try searching for one of them by name, tag, or location
That’s it. Most people find the app useful from the first session.
