Browsing Your Inventory by Location
How to see everything in a specific room or storage area.
As well as searching by item name, you can browse your inventory by location - useful when you want to see everything in a room, or when you’re not sure what you’re looking for.
Viewing a location’s contents
- Tap Locations in the navigation
- Tap any location to see its contents
- Items are listed alphabetically by default
- Sub-locations are shown at the top of the list
Sorting and filtering
Within a location view, you can:
- Sort by name, date added, or date updated
- Filter by tag to narrow down a large list
- Search within the location using the search bar at the top
Nested locations
If a location contains sub-locations, tapping on it will show the sub-locations and any items directly assigned to the parent location. Items in sub-locations are only visible when you tap into that sub-location.
Using a location list
You can use a location view as a quick reference while checking what is stored in a room or storage area:
- Open the location
- Review the items and sub-locations shown
- Use search or tag filters if the location has lots of items
This is useful when checking boxes, reviewing a room, or updating where items live.
